Migration & Visa Information

Skilled Migration - Tackling the Skills Shortage

Diversity is one of the cornerstones of Australian society. Since 1945, over 6 million people from 200 countries have migrated to Australia, with almost 25% of the local population being born overseas.

These migrants have made a major contribution to modern Australia and have given many of its towns and cities their diverse cultures.

The Australian economy is thriving, with low unemployment levels and a shortage of skilled workers across many  industries. In order to meet the current skills shortages, a range of visa options are available, enabling migrants to live and work in Australia.

Your Future can assist you with all visa related matters, to ensure sponsorship and employment processes are fast and uninterrupted.

Employer Sponsored Migration Categories

These visa categories are designed to offer companies the opportunity to source migrant employees for highly skilled positions which cannot be filled from within the domestic labour market.

Temporary Business Visa (Subclass 457) :
This is the most commonly used program for employers wishing to sponsor overseas workers on a temporary basis.

Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS) :
This scheme enables Australian companies to sponsor overseas candidates for permanent residency.

Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme (RSMS) :
This scheme was created specifically for regional employers.
